Potato Harvest

In spring Joshua wanted to plant potatoes so I tossed him one from our bag of organic potatoes for him to plant. He was so excited and when the first shoots came up out of the ground he was even more excited. But nothing compares to his excitement yesterday when he dug up eleven potatoes in his garden.

The first potato! It was small but it didn't quench his excitement or amazement!

The first bite! This is one proud little potato farmer! Next year his sister said she wants to try growing potatoes too. At least we found something the rabbits leave alone.

Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us.
~Psalm 67:6

Oh, they look so yummy. Garden potatoes are our family favorite. Eleven potatoes from one? Way to go Joshua!
