Joshua chose carrot cake this year. He made most of it also! He scrubbed and peeled all the carrots and shredded almost 3 cups of them. Then he helped measure and stir and this morning he helped decorate. He said he liked preparing for the party almost as much as the party itself.
The cousins each had a shield by their place and got to put them together and embellish when they arrived. Joshua was "Sir Joshua of the 7th Year". Tobe was "Sir Tobe of the 6th Year".
After cake and gifts some of the boys opened up the K'nex. They were especially fun to play with....nice, calm and cool after a day of running and playing in the heat.
We are blessed by Joshua's and Tobe's personalities, their love for life and their relationship with each other.

What little boy doesn't love knights?? My boys are becoming not so little anymore, but they still LOVE anything to do with knights and castles. Looks like a very creative birthday celebration! I love the banner. :)
