Earth Day Picnic

Caitlin wanted a picnic today. She made the picnic lunch
all by herself. Joshua found the picnic blanket and a
sunny spot to place it. I was invited.

We had a special blessing for our food and the earth. We
enjoyed making up a story about Mr. Chipmunk and his
family. (At the end of the story they moved to the
neighbor's yard so our strawberries will be safe and all ours
to eat. Yippee!) There were lots of giggles and resting in
the warmth of the sun absorbed by our sweatshirts.
Happy memory made.

From heaven the LORD looks down
and sees all mankind;
from his dwelling place he watches

all who live on earth-

~Psalm 33:13, 14

What a fun day!!! I hope your strawberries will be safe.

Wasn't the weather glorious that beginning of the week? So much better than its end, but praise God Spring is here. Even though the snow was a bit disappointing I know that it wont be long now and we'll be out in the warmth everyday.
