National Craft Month

I just read that March is National Craft Month. What a nice idea. I have a couple projects that need to be finished and March is just the month to do it.

At JoAnn Fabrics last month I found a nice big K and picked it up without thinking twice. Very unusual for me as I usually think so long about something before purchasing it that it is gone when I finally decide. Anyway, I looked at this cardboard K for a month wondering what to do with it.

With a little paint from Making Memories and some paper from Basic Grey this it how it turned out:

I really like the Basic Grey papers. I buy them for scrapbooking but they end up on every project except my scrapbook. I secretly wish they would also design fabric!
