January
We put away holiday decorations. We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa to celebrated Grandma's birthday. We made a pretty hot water bottle cover for her out of an old L.L.Bean sweater that was slightly worn and very soft.
We went to Kansas for the last part of January into February to visit the Hansa Center for two weeks. They work with a lot of different kinds of people but are especially amazing with people with chronic illness. I was there because of Lyme disease. I saw some amazing changes in my health in the two weeks I was there. God is good!
Quentin packed up his computer station and settled into the hotel. The kids were loaded down with school work, swimsuits and Wii. They did amazingly great on the 11 hour trip down and back. While there we went swimming, went to the zoo and ate at some restaurants that had gluten free menus. (What a treat!) They also got to play some tennis and go rock climbing - and all the while see their mom slowly come back to life.
My sister had her baby in February also. He is such a good nephew. Just wouldn't be born until his aunty returned from Wichita.
March
Family celebration - a big one - with three birthdays (Brennan, Ifeanyi, Chinyere) and a baptism to celebrate all in one day. We only have one photo with the whole crew. We are a very blessed family. God is good!
At the end of March and beginning of April Quentin and I went back to the Hansa Center just for one week. The kids stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. (Joshua said that Grandma is a good homeschool teacher.) We were able to fly this time which was much nicer than an 11 hour car trip! Another good week. I have to admit I was hoping for another great leap in healing - we'll see. So far it seem slow. Quentin notices the biggest difference in me. Now that I've had a taste of feeling well I want it all and now! It is a journey. God is the guide. We'll just see what He has in mind.
April
Did a radio interview for The Bridge while at the Hansa Center.
It snowed the first weekend in April. So like Minnesota. The kids really don't care. They enjoy it no matter what. :)
- Finishing out the "school year".
- More healing.
- God's goodness.
- Future trips to Hansa Center and leaps in healing.
- Warm weather.
- Continuing to pray for Maddie. (You can join us in prayer if you would like.)
- Yard work.
- Bike rides.
- Trips with friends.
- Blessings.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.
Psalm 73:28

Mrs. Krengel!
I was thinking of you today, I don't know what made me think back to my grade school years, but I did. : ) I went to the internet to see if I could find you and I ran across your blog. So I've been reading your posts for part of the afternoon, and it has been so wonderful to see part of your life, and it reminds me a lot of when I had you as my teacher - and how much art we were able to do in your class : ) I hope all is going well with your family, I certainly enjoyed seeing bits of it!
Much love, and may the Lord continue to bless your family,
Tori
