:: Spring Creek Academy :: Week 1

Our first week of school went great. Both Caitlin and Joshua are enjoying the routine and the work again. Each year I am more and more amazed at their growth - physically and spiritually maturing right before our eyes. That in itself is a blessing!

We had company from Texas for our first week of homeschooling. We received an email from him today that he made it home safe. He said he was bragging on our kids and homeschooling. I'm so glad that he was impressed. I was too! I thanked him as that is a blessing for us to hear.

The kids are tucked in. The house is tidy. The plans are laid out. The prayers are being lifted up that week 2 will flow as smoothly as the first.

We named our school:
Spring Creek Academy
Growing and Flowing in the River of Life

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
Colossians 1:10

Oh yeah, glad to hear your first week went well. I can't wait to hear more about it tomorrow night.

Looks like school is off to a great start! And it's no surprise, your kids have an awesome teacher! :-)

I love your school name and the corresponding verse. Very cool.

I had to delete my first comment...grammatical error. Homeschoolers can NEVER make mistakes like that!

I'll try it again:

You make learning fun. Who wouldn't want to attend Spring Creek Academy?

I pray you have a year filled with great joy, the love of learning, and peace within your home.

Blessings!

Theresa,
Always fun to get together!

Linda,
We wanted a school name for the past few years and this year it just came together all at once... while riding in the car....out of the blue (or Spirit I should say!). It was very cool!

Michelle,
Thank you, friend. I receive those blessings of joy, love of learning and peace!
