Holy Week Projects

We have been busy with some fun projects this week. It has been so much fun to create - a little messy - but very fun!

One of our projects was Bible dolls made out of clothespins. Caitlin and Joshua had just as fun making them as they have had playing with them. We call them Bible Actors so we can use them for other Bible stories too.

We need a donkey for this scene for next year. We will look for a donkey soon since while playing with the little "actors" we planned costume designs for our Bible Actors to play the Nativity Story. Imagination is taking over....

We worked on our tomb.

Last night we read the Bible account of Jesus' suffering and death. Caitlin and Joshua gently wrapped Jesus and placed in the the brand new tomb.

Taking Jesus' body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid.

Wow those look great Lisa!

I closed Grace Like Rain. I just could keep paying the monthly fee and my time right now is needed at home for more prayer for my husband. I do have a wordpress account but not sure if I'll use it. You can find me there or by e-mail.

Blessings,
Theresa

Theresa,

I will miss reading your blog. I hadn't even had a chance to go through your archives.

Please keep in touch. We need to meet soon. Maybe we can put Nicole in charge of that. :-)

Blessings,
Lisa
