Mall of America

On Saturday the girls danced at the Mall of America. They did very well - even with carpet and a split stage. Shoppers stopped to watch the dancers and hopefully get a little more cheer in their Christmas shopping.

Each of the girls were asked to write a Christmas or winter poem that they read at the recital and again at the Mall of America performance.

I Wonder Why

I wonder why the snow is white
Not pink or blue or green.
I know it comes from Someone
Who has not yet been seen.
He reigns in heaven high up above
And sent His Son down
To fill our hearts with love.

by Caitlin.

Proclaiming aloud Your praise
and telling of all Your wonderful deeds.
~Psalm 26:7

What a beautiful poem. Can you please ask Caitlin if we can include it in our snow lapbook?

I'm heading to a Charlotte Mason co-op Friday morning. I am going to be a fly on the wall at Nancy Kelly's house while she and 4 or 5 other mothers get together for their Friday morning CM co-op called Truth, Grace, Beauty.

I'll let you know how it goes! I'd love to start something similar up here.

Theresa,
Caitlin said, "My poem? Okay." :) She is thrilled to be asked. Thanks.

I'll look forward to hearing about the meeting. It sounds great.

Mandy asked about you this morning. She said she misses seeing you at Moms' group and was wondering how you are doing.

Blessings,
Lisa
