Memory Quilts

Grandma Reve visited us today with a very wonderful gift. Caitlin and Joshua each received their memory quilts. These memory quilts are very special because they are made from all of Grandpa Joe's clothing.














They each got to pick out their favorites from piles at Grandma's house.














Caitlin even got to help sew some of the seams in her quilt when she was at Grandma's house a couple weeks ago.














It was so fun to finally see them. The kids have been chattering on about them for a couple weeks. Tonight they were very prompt about bedtime and are currently both tucked into bed for the night under their Grandpa Joe memory quilts.
