Joshua and Caitlin learned about Jesus riding into Jerusalem this morning. We learned that He rode a donkey becasue it symbolized peace. In Biblical times royalty rode a donkey in times of peace and a horse in times of war.
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; hosanna in the highest." Matthew 21:9
